A number of market forces are driving the
need to become digital. Still, many
companies are just embarking on
complex digital transformation journeys
encompassing all aspects of their
business to redefine how they operate.
Maturity models are reference models that deal with the current state and the evolution of maturity in organizations and their applied technologies with the aid of development or maturation paths. The degree of maturity defines a particular state of development within a scale range, determined by an initial point (lowest development degree) and an end-point (highest development degree). A change to a higher degree is equivalent to an improvement.
The general aim of the DMA tools (i.e. maturity models) is to help the companies to analyze their current situation, support them to position, and define their digital transformation roadmap.
